We recognize that girls love football too and are more likely to act on their interest to play in a program just for them! Female participation in the sport is growing nationally and interest is growing locally. Whether a girl has a desire to play full contact football one day or not, we're eager to offer her an introduction to the sport that will provide an opportunity to be active, have fun, develop motor skills, and learn the game. At some point, the playing days end for all of us, but our love for the game never dies. We hope to inspire girls to develop a passion for football that they may share with their dads, brothers, husbands, sons, and other football-loving females! â€‹

February 1 Update

We're proud to announce that RedZone is proceeding with an effort to get an all-girls football program off the ground this spring! Our plan is to host weekly training sessions to acclimate the group to skills and procedures of the game, culminate with a tournament. There is a similarly aligned program from the Cedar Falls area working to join us; those groups would serve as the competition along with any other groups that could pull a team together for the tournament event. If our program isn't fit for you, but you're interested in starting one in your area and/or entering a team in a spring tournament, we'd love to help you out. Get in touch with us using the contact info at the very bottom of this page.
