We know that girls love football too and are inspired by those that have jumped in with the boys in our past seasons. We recognize that more girls are likely to act on that interest to play if there is an all girls program available to them. Female participation in the sport is growing nationally and we've started to field more conversation about it in eastern Iowa. As a result, we are considering the feasibility of offering an all girls football program. 

 

Whether a young girl has a desire to play full contact football one day or not, we're eager to provide her an introduction to the sport that will give her an opportunity to be active, have fun, develop motor skills, and to learn this game. At some point, all of us must face the reality of going from the field to the sidelines, the stands, or the couch. We hope to inspire girls to develop a passion for football that they may share with their dads, brothers, husbands, sons, and other football-loving females!
