Fall sessions

Rookie & Developmental

Sessions designed for football beginners & flag players. Develop skills such as throwing, catching, evasive running, and chasing; learn basic game procedures and strategy with team drills and scrimmages.

​For ages 5-10. Participants will be paired with age, skill, and experience-appropriate partners & sub-groups during each session.

Sundays 9:30-11:00 am @ NW Jr High, Coralville

October 19-November 23 (6 weeks, weather permitting)

 

Some dates may be weather-affected, so this camp has a 'pre-register, then pay-as-you-go' setup. 

​

Part 1- Register Here. $60 fee covers attendance for any 4 dates.​​ Part 2- If we have and registrant attends a fifth or sixth session, they may do so at a $15 drop-in rate.

​​

Walk-In Option- If openings available, $20 anytime walk-in attendance. No registration necessary. Cash and Venmo preferred. Walk-ins may not be alerted if sessions canceled due to weather.

RaZors/RoyalZ Development Sessions

Our boys & girls club teams are hosting some joint training sessions. These are free to attend for any boy/girl, ages 8-13. You do not have to be a previous member of the club to attend. Registration/waiver completion are required. Register Here.

The focus of these sessions is to develop players physical skills and awareness for the 7v7 and other game formats these teams will compete in during spring & summer seasons.

Sunday Football Club

Dive deep into and NFL Sunday at the RedZone classroom/office. Make your predictions and take in the early slate action while talking ball, playing games, trading cards, and enjoying the game with your other football-loving friends.

For ages 8-13. Each date runs 11am-3pm. Snack provided. Each date capped at 16 participants

Football School

A day filled with football at the RedZone classroom/office. Activities include video games, card & board games, scouting reports, card trading, fantasy teams & more! Contests and prizes. Outdoor football activities may be considered if weather appropriate. â€‹For ages 7-12. Sessions run from 9am-3pm each day. Bring your own lunch, snack provided.

Check your district calendar to see if you have these dates off from school. Each date capped at 16 participants. Must sign up for both double date days.

Sessions designed for WRs, TEs, & RBs. Enhance your playmaking skills in the pass & run game. Includes catching, pass routes, and evasive running. Pair up with the QB group to bring it all together as an offensive unit.

Defensive Skills & Drills

Sessions designed for all defensive players. Enhance your coverage skills to lock down receivers and learn to track (chase) runners effectively to limit yardage and arrive in good position to make a tackle or flag pull.​

Block & Tackle

Sessions designed to acclimate tackle players to more physical elements of the game. In addition to blocking & tackling techniques, participants will also learn elements of block destruction and pass rush.

​​For ages 10-14. Participants will be paired with age, skill, and experience-appropriate partners & sub-groups during session.​

3-day, Mini Bootcamp

Sessions designed for middle schoolers and younger tackle players to undergo mild acclimation to the physical demands of the sport as the season approaches. Hit your team's first practices a step ahead by priming your game at preseason bootcamp.

​​For grades 5-8. Participants will be paired with age, skill, and experience-appropriate partners & sub-groups during session.

RZL Prep Camp

6 hours of training to get you ready for RZL play this fall. Sessions will focus on critical elements of game play such as snaps, exchanges, basic pass routes & play operation, flag belt orientation and flag pulling. Participants will learn individual skills and put them to use in drills and scrimmages fit with RZL game rules and field markings. For grades 1st-6th. Limited to 40 participants.

Basics Camp

If your player needs a bit more work on the fundamentals, these Football Basics sessions are designed for beginners and less experienced players to work on the basics of throwing, catching, evasive running, and chasing, without having to know all the rules of the game. These small groups provide opportunities for extra reps and more personal coaching to help your player start fast or break through. For ages 6-10.
